Our Services

We provide therapy services for children, adolescents, adults, and families using compassionate, developmentally appropriate, and evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs.

PLAY THERAPY

Play is the natural language of childhood.

Play therapy is a form of therapy that allows the child to “play out” their feelings and problems. Play therapy can be directive or non-directive. In a Directive approach, the therapist may assume responsibility for guidance and interpretation (using board games, art, activities, sand tray, etc.) In a non-directive approach, the child takes the lead in therapy sessions within a secure and supportive environment. Here, the therapist remains attuned to the child, offering therapeutic responses and establishing boundaries as necessary.

Play therapy can help your child:

  • Learn social skills

  • Improve self-esteem

  • Learn self-regulation skills

  • Process life changes

  • Develop empathy

  • Learn communication skills

  • Process trauma

EMDR: Eye movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy

EMDR is a therapy that can assist children and teens in coping with challenging experiences. When something negative occurs, it can leave kids and teens feeling emotionally overwhelmed. EMDR aids in processing these difficult feelings, creating room for positive and joyful emotions.

EMDR therapy is a mental health intervention. As such, it should only be offered by properly trained and licensed mental health clinicians.

CPRT: Child Parent Relationship Therapy

CPRT is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps strengthen the bond between children and their caregivers through the power of play. In CPRT, parents and caregivers are taught specialized play therapy skills they can use to better understand, connect with, and support their child.

CPRT can help improve communication, emotional regulation, behavior, attachment, and family relationships. This approach is especially helpful for children experiencing anxiety, trauma, behavioral concerns, emotional challenges, or family transitions.

By supporting caregivers in building deeper connection and confidence, CPRT promotes healing, trust, and lasting positive change within the family system.

PARENT CONSULTATION

Caregivers are essential in the therapeutic process and we always want to ensure that the caregivers are well informed and equipped with the information and strategies they need to support the child.

We hold your child’s and your family’s confidentiality and therapeutic relationship in a very high regard. We ask that personal information or the child’s struggles are never discussed in front of the child or in the waiting room.  Although we do not discuss information in front of the child, we make it a priority to have every 4 to 6 weeks an adult only consultation to discuss progress and

TEEN COUNSELING

Being a teenager can feel overwhelming at times. Between school, friendships, family expectations, identity development, and everyday stressors, teens often benefit from having a safe space to talk, process, and feel understood.

Our teen counseling services help adolescents navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem struggles, emotional regulation, social challenges, life transitions, and family stress.

We use compassionate, evidence-based, and developmentally appropriate approaches to help teens build coping skills, confidence, emotional awareness, and healthier ways of managing life’s challenges, while partnering with caregivers to support lasting growth and connection.

AUTISM AND ADHD SUPPORT

We provide therapy for autistic children and teens using strengths-based, developmentally appropriate, and relationship-focused approaches. Through play therapy, parent consultation, and individualized therapeutic interventions, we support emotional regulation, social-emotional development, communication, coping skills, and family connection while honoring each child’s unique way of experiencing the world.

GROUP THERAPY

Our therapy groups provide children and teens with a safe, supportive space to connect with peers, build confidence, and strengthen important social-emotional skills. Group topics may include social skills, emotions and feelings, emotional regulation, friendship building, communication, and peer relationships.

We offer groups for both neurodivergent and neurotypical youth, using engaging, developmentally appropriate, and strengths-based activities to help participants practice skills, build meaningful connections, and grow in self-awareness, confidence, and belonging.

While we are committed to supporting children and families through a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges, our practice does not specialize in divorce-related therapy, custody evaluations, reunification therapy, high-conflict family cases, or court-involved matters. To maintain a therapeutic environment focused on healing and growth, our clinicians do not participate in custody recommendations, legal proceedings, or court appearances. Families seeking services related to ongoing litigation or court involvement may be better served by a provider who specializes in those areas.
